Logging in issues - Required cookies for log in
If you receive an ERROR when trying to log in:
If PHEWFIX detects that your browser cannot store the information required to keep you signed in, you may see this message:
Your browser is blocking the essential browser storage PHEWFIX needs to keep you signed in.
PHEWFIX uses only the browser storage and essential cookies required for login, account security and keeping your session active.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
If these essential cookies are blocked, your username and password may be accepted successfully, but your browser cannot remember that you have logged in. PHEWFIX therefore stops the login process and lets you know what needs to be changed.
The simple fix
Enable cookies or browser storage for phewfix.com, then return to the login page and try again.
If you are comfortable changing your browser settings yourself, that is all you need to do.

Why might this suddenly happen?
Browser privacy settings can be changed manually, by privacy/security software, by device-management policies, or sometimes following browser or operating-system updates.
If PHEWFIX worked previously and suddenly stops keeping you signed in, checking your browser's cookie/privacy settings is a good first step.
A note about Safari
Safari users may occasionally encounter additional privacy or compatibility settings that affect website logins.
PHEWFIX works with Safari when the required browser storage is enabled. However, if you regularly experience website compatibility problems with Safari, you may prefer to use another modern browser.

Why does PHEWFIX need any cookies at all?
There is an important difference between an essential login cookie and a tracking cookie.
An essential cookie can simply tell PHEWFIX:
“This is the same person who successfully logged in a moment ago.”
Without that information, every page would effectively forget that you had already authenticated.
Tracking and advertising cookies are a different matter — and PHEWFIX does not use them for advertising or behavioural tracking.
